LGBT Colleges and Scholarships

Are you thinking about attending college? One of the things you may want to consider is how LGBTQ competent and friendly a particular college or university is.

Campus Pride is a volunteer-driven network "for" and "by" student leaders that exists to develop the necessary resources, programs, and services to support LGBT and ally students on college campuses across the United States. Campus Pride has a Campus Pride Index where you can see where your prospective school rates!

BestColleges.com also just released a list of what they consider to be the 25 most LGBT friendly colleges in the United States.  You can check out that list here.  They also have a great guide that discusses issues faced by lgbtq studnets in college, and what to look for when choosing the right college for you.

Accredited Colleges recently released a "one stop shop" of support resources, including various available scholarships for LGBTQ students.

Online College Plan has another.
