INDIANA YOUTH GROUP TO BE FEATURED BY BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION AT UPCOMING JOANNE WORLD TOUR STOP IN INDIANAPOLIS

Born This Way Foundation is excited to announce that Indiana Youth Group will be featured at an upcoming stop of Lady Gaga's Joanne World Tour in Indianapolis on Sunday November 5th. The organization will be featured as part of Born This Way Foundation's series of Kindness Pop Ups at select tour stops, designed to spread kindness and highlight exceptional local nonprofit organizations across the country. Nonprofits are chosen based on their demonstrated excellence in supporting and empowering young people.

IYG will be featured prominently at the Kindness Pop Up, including a location for their staff or volunteers to interact with the thousands of fans in attendance, increasing awareness of the services and programs the group offers.

"We are excited and honored to be chosen by the Born This Way Foundation to highlight the needs of the underserved community of LGBTQ+ youth in central Indiana." Chris Paulsen, Executive Director of Indiana Youth Group, "For 30 years IYG has provided a safe space for youth to find support, learn about themselves, gain skills, and find lifelong friendships as they develop into adulthood."

Indiana Youth Group was founded in 1987 by members of the Gay and Lesbian Swtichboard in response
to the dismal suicide, homeless, and dropout rates of the self-identified gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgender youth in Indianapolis. Today IYG sees over 100 youth a week through educational programming, mentorships, suicide prevention, and center activities.

"Born This Way Foundation is thrilled to shine a light on the work these exceptional local organizations do for the young people they support. We share a mission to inspire and empower today's youth and the resources and services these groups are providing in their communities are critical to that goal," said Cynthia Germanotta, Co-Founder and President of Born This Way Foundation.

This initiative reflects Born This Way Foundation's commitment to working with local and national allies to reach hundreds of thousands of young people directly. These relationships have enabled the organization to connect youth around the country with services and programming in their communities.
